Managing change using EA
When considering change in your life, department or organisation, it is good to understand first, what type of change you are experiencing and, second, the impact of this change on your own behaviour, decision making and that of your team. Whether your change is re-engineering, rightsizing, restructuring, cultural change or turnaround, you must consider how you can engage your teams and realisers of change to make it happen. Kotter (1996) suggests that you know you have made a big step forward ‘when you see people, lots of people, raise their hands, rather than pointing fingers’.
