Good-bye worry, anxiety, and fear.
WAF is an acronym for worry, anxiety, and fear. All three are counterproductive and can make you feel awful! They can also severely and adversely affect your health and physical and psychological well-being unless you decide to rid yourself of them.
According to Psychology Today, “90% of what you worry about never even happens.” One definition of anxiety is: the horrible stories we tell ourselves that are rarely if ever true.
My favorite quote about fear comes from Zig Ziglar, who said that F.E.A.R. can stand for one of two things. Fear Everything And Run or Face Everything And Rise!
Susan Jeffers wrote a book titled Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway! I never read the book. I got so much out of that title I didn’t have to! I had the book propped up in the office, and every time I walked by it I would say to myself, “Feeling the fear, doing it anyway!”
Defining worry, anxiety, and fear makes it easier to deal with them and cope.
