CHAPTER EIGHTSTRATEGIC PLANNING AND THE STRATEGY CHANGE CYCLE

This chapter presents an approach to strategic planning and management for nonprofit organizations and collaborations and communities in which they are involved. This generic approach, called the Strategy Change Cycle, does what scholars and practitioners assert planning should do—if it is to be strategic planning (Bryson and George, 2020; Bryson, Edwards, and Van Slyke, 2018; George, 2021a, 2023; Hansen et al., 2022; Kools and George, 2020).
