Introduction

Investors are not charities.

The team needs to approach the right investors with interest and knowledge of their product. Investment groups usually have specialty areas of interest with product expertise, domain knowledge of the customer, the market, and the industry trends. The investor will evaluate the company presentation, the team’s interactions, and the team’s problem-solving skills. Investors have a deep knowledge of successful companies and a painful awareness of unsuccessful companies.
