Where to Set Your ISO
Your flash is going to illuminate your subject (five bonus points for using a $10 word there. Say it with me, “illuminate!” Now, use it in a sentence: “Your flash is going to illuminate your subject.” Illuminate. Correct! You would totally rock a spelling bee!), so your image will have enough light, and because of that, you can use the lowest, cleanest ISO on your camera. For some of us, that would be 100 ISO (depending on our camera’s make and model), for others it might 50 ISO, or as high as 200 ISO.
