Nothing ever stays the same: cloud computing is an evolution of grid computing, which was a logical evolution of SOA. Cloud will continue to evolve; different underlying technologies will continuously need to be embraced; different global and regional laws will always need to be dealt with.
Indeed, if you are reading this book a few years after it was written, you may be wondering what all the fuss was about. Some ‘new’ approach with a catchy name will have come through that will need to have a similar book written about it.
