In that year, people around the world took 80 billion photos and bought approximately 70 million cameras. In 2014, it is estimated that 90 million compact and DSLR cameras were sold and approximately 2 billion phones and tablets with cameras; over 2 billion iPhone and Android smart phones were sold by the end of 2014. That’s a lot of people with cameras in their hands taking photographs and sharing them online!
It’s not the camera that takes the picture; it’s the person.
