IN THE 2005 SCIENCE FICTION FILM SERENITY, ASPACEWESTERNWITHA LARGE cult following, Captain Malcolm “Mal” Reynolds and his rogue crew on a cargo ship have picked up a mysterious passenger and are being pursued by operatives of the ominous Alliance, an interplanetary government intent on galactic domination.
