DEVELOPING A RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR ACTORS
Perhaps the closest relationship the director has with any part of the production is with the cast. This relationship can range from friendly to far more formal. Regardless, the director must always remain as the head of the production, maintaining the respect of the actors. Many beginning directors suffer feelings of inadequacy. These feelings are frequently compounded when working with actors whom they feel are more experienced and talented.
