How to Pick Your Own Focus Point
Today’s auto focus systems are pretty darn good at picking what to focus on in your scene, but they’re not perfect, and they can’t read your mind. That’s why, sometimes, instead of letting the camera choose what it thinks you want in focus, you might just want to tell the camera what to focus on yourself.
