One thing lens manufacturers have done to help us when we are in situations where we have to hand-hold our cameras in low light (where our shutter speed would drop so much that it’s likely our photos would come out blurry from us moving the camera while the shutter is open) is that many lenses today have built-in stabilizers. Think of them as mini-gyroscopes that literally steady any movement for us, and they actually work wonders. They have slightly different names depending on which brand you use.
