The dissemination of research
Introduction
As we saw in the last chapter, a theoretical paradigm may predispose researchers to consider favorably those topics and conceptualizations that are compatible with it and to give less favorable treatment to those which are not. Paradigms, however, are not the only mechanism that can prevent research from being given full and just consideration. Just as important are the venues for disseminating research. Differing perspectives and new research topics are of very little significance if they have no venue through which to reach their audience.
