Gao Yu, CEO of Rujin Kanjian Beijing Shengwu Keji Youxian Gongsi, is a very atypical Chinese entrepreneur. She is used to working with advisors, a situation still not common in China, where business leaders avoid paying for services because of their intangible nature. Since 2006 she has taken the strategic advice of Professor Liu Deji, a Government’s advisor and a well-recognized professional in China. She has five other advisors one each for the following: economic and financial matters, legal issues, products, market positioning and marketing, and social media relationships.
