Many people contributed to the achievement of this project but foremost I have to thank my great friend, Shi Qingqi, who kindly introduced me to all the entrepreneurs of this book except Xu Xiaoyu who I knew since 2004. Shi Qingqi was Executive Vice-president and Secretary General of the Chinese Association of Women Entrepreneurs (CAWE), at the time of my first set I conducted interviews and remained there until her retirement in 2011, when she became advisor of the Chinese government in its “Green Economy” area.
