ROZ: We hired Carol Lynn Alpert as our editor to help us work out a structure for the book and weave its many divers and unusual elements into a musical line. While Ben was out in the world, breathing life into the new practices with corporate managers, orchestras, and students, Carol Lynn joined me in the later stages of organizing and shaping the voices, stories, words, and commas. She brought leadership to the task, great intelligence, a fresh imagination, and a wonderful sense of fun.
