A Checklist of Common Errors
Now that you have learned and applied The Anatomy of Persuasion principles, you may be asked to critique persuasive material created by others. Or you may wish to give your own work a close, detailed look before presentation. To ease that task for you we have prepared a checklist of common errors. This will help you to pinpoint flaws and to give constructive criticism quickly and easily when asked. If you have acted on the suggestions in Chapter 15, Building Your Own Proposal, you will find this checklist valuable.
Some people don’t like the idea of checklists. Their very existence suggests mental flaws in the person dependent on them. Preoccupation is a flaw in all of us.
