Luke had already made up his mind to pull in Carey and Scott for a meeting regarding the whole sales organization. He knew things weren’t right, so he set up a few rooms at the local Hilton, and they met in his suite’s conference room. He booked the rooms for three days.
All three met for dinner on the first night following Scott’s and Carey’s flights in. The dinner was at a local steak house, a nice place. They mostly talked sports and caught up, had a couple of drinks, and hit the sack early, after each of them called their significant others—in Luke’s case, Allison.
