PART III ADD VALUE TO YOUR 25 MINUTE MEETINGS
Let me be super clear: 25-minute meetings are easy and should not be complicated. Getting the simple things right, consistently, is what will give you the greatest return.
Ensuring that you are sticking to the time frame, getting the work done, and that people are engaged and productive in your 25-minute meetings should be the priority.
However, once you’ve got the basics covered, there are some things you can do to make sure your meetings rock.
In part III, we’ll look at three areas (shown in figure B) where you can add more value to maximise the impact of your 25-minute meetings:
- Get virtual. Many of us work in teams with members located all over the country, or even the world, so we need to know how to keep it together when it comes to meeting in 25 minutes.
- Add variety. Remember, meeting doesn’t have to be boring or suck up all of our energy. We can plan health-conscious meetings to increase our productivity and brain power.
- Think visual. We can leverage some of the discoveries in neuroscience to be more productive and engaged in our work each and every time we meet.
