Victor Restrepo’s daily commute is not unusual for anyone who lives in central New Jersey and works in New York City. After a five-minute drive to the local park and ride, he waits for the bus and takes the New Jersey Turnpike into the city. Depending on how bad the traffic is through the Lincoln Tunnel, the trip can take sixty to ninety minutes each way.
