Calendar is OS X’s calendar application. As you can probably guess, you can use it to track calendar events; however, Calendar goes beyond these basics.
One of the best things about Calendar is that you can share your calendars on the web so that other people can work with them. By subscribing to other people’s calendars, you can see what they are up to, which makes coordinating events among a group of people much easier. You can also use Calendar to directly coordinate events with other people, such as inviting people to a meeting you are hosting.
