Exposing yourself to the chance of injury or loss in the pursuit of betterment is a key entrepreneurial trait.
This chapter will focus on the concept of risk and how to mitigate it. Risk is defined as: “exposure to the chance of injury or loss.” The biggest deterrent to entrepreneurship, aside from the start-up funding aspect, is fear, and avoidance, of risk. The first part of that combination, fear, is natural, and you can learn to channel it. Fear is a great motivator.
