Hone the Home Screen
Once past the Lock screen, you’re presented with the Home screen—the grid of icons that you tap to launch apps. Resting at the bottom of the Home screen is the Dock, which makes it easy to get to a fixed set of your most-used apps regardless of which Home screen page you’re on. You can also add widgets to your Home screen, and the App Library lets you corral all your apps in one place.

To return to the Home screen from any app, swipe up from the bottom of the screen or press the Home button (if your device has one).
