Before we start building shortcuts, let’s explore the user interface. Shortcuts is almost the same everywhere, but there’s a separate section for each platform where we can explore the various areas of the app.

Cross-Platform Similarities

While Shortcuts has its differences across platforms—as all good apps do—it also has many commonalities. This makes it much easier for you to understand and translate your knowledge from, say, an iPhone to a Mac.

A Shortcut Is a Tile
