Stream Audio
So far I've concentrated on playing audio through the iPod app, using material stored on the iPad as the source. You can also listen to live radio or news programming using third-party apps that stream the audio over the Internet. I definitely encourage you to explore the App Store for streaming apps. Here are two to get you started:
Pandora Radio: One of the most popular apps for streaming music, this app provides not only a virtual radio station, but the songs are based on a band or album that you like. (Pandora Media, free)
