Deployment Challenges
Obstacles and barriers to successfully deploying Windows abound and are often unique to specific environments. Windows Vista added to these with multiple new features such as BitLocker and User Account Control (UAC). The Windows 7 (and 8) base image size is also greatly increased over Windows XP, adding to overall deployment time and increasing the need for a well-connected environment for general deployment. The next sections discuss some of the more common deployment challenges.
