Creating a Package from the Package Definition Wizard
7-Zip (http://sourceforge.net/projects/sevenzip/) is a handy freeware archiving utility that you can use with .zip, .iso, .7z, and many other archive types. This chapter uses the Windows installer distributable of 7-Zip to walk through the process of creating a package from a definition. Download the latest version (in .msi format) for both x86 and x64 (for example, 7z922.msi and 7z922-x64.msi).
Creating the ConfigMgr package for 7-Zip is straightforward and only requires several steps:
