Types of Failures
There are several types of failures. These can be short duration transient or long duration transient. Additionally, they can cause data loss, and one or more Replication Server components may suffer disk failures causing data loss.
Short Duration Transient Failures
Replication Server’s store and forward protocol ensures that after its component or thread is restarted, Replication Server picks up where it left off without any data loss. These include:
