There is a noticeable difference between supply chain security and the traditional corporate security that many security professionals support. We will examine some of these differences to help show that many companies rely on the corporate security function to oversee supply chain issues. Experience has shown that not only are there some fundamental program differences and foci, but also that what the organization expects from them can be diverse and even divergent.
