PWAS Resonators
This chapter discusses PWAS resonators. The chapter starts with linear PWAS resonators for which a detailed 1-D analysis is performed for both mechanical and electrical responses. The associated resonances are identified. Closed-form solutions are derived for the electromechanical (E/M) impedance and admittance and compared with experiments. The circular PWAS resonators are discussed next; a detailed 2-D analysis of the mechanical and electrical responses is performed in cylindrical coordinates. Axisymmetric closed-form solutions are derived in terms of Bessel functions. The associated resonances of a circular PWAS resonator are identified.
