Part 2. Taking it real world
This part of the book is where we put everything from chapters 1 through 8 into practice. Chapter 9—the only chapter in this section—walks you through building an entire streaming data system. Our data set for this chapter is the Meetup.com RSVP API. We start off with a discussion of the data set and the application we’re going to build. Then we will work our way through each of the tiers. When you reach the end of chapter 9, you will have a complete streaming system running. You’ll have good insight into the next steps to take to bring a streaming system into production.
