Big Data

Big Data refers to massive datasets. One method of characterizing their components is by referring to the five Vs: volume, velocity, variety, veracity, and value. That means that these datasets are unique because of their sheer size, the speed by which they are increasing, the fact the data contains a variety of different types, the quality of the data, and its value.
