Setting Column Widths

You will find that when you use different formatting options on your cells, especially number formats and text attributes such as bold or a larger font size, the column can no longer accommodate the entry. The data in the cells of the column will be truncated (appear to be cut off from view). In cases where the data already has a number format assigned to it, a series of number signs (#) will appear across the width of the cell, letting you know that the column width is too narrow.
