INTRODUCTION
I have always been fascinated by the combination of history and the newest trends. For example, I love fountain pens and computers! I believe we must know what has come before, who first did something, and how they did it. In essence, we must know where we come from and honor that history. Otherwise, we spend a great deal of time reinventing, well, the wheel—literally. At the same time, we must continue to push, pull, and stretch ourselves as both designers and technicians, using the newest materials and technology currently available.
