Creating Custom Filters with AutoFilter
A very easy way to create a custom filter is by using the Custom option on the AutoFilter list. (Microsoft Excel users should recognize this feature.) First, turn on the AutoFilter feature by either choosing Project, Filtered For, AutoFilter or by clicking the AutoFilter button on the Formatting toolbar. This displays an AutoFilter drop-down list on each column heading. When you choose any of these lists, a menu appears, with a number of choices, including Custom. When you choose the Custom option, in this case from the Task Name field drop-down list, the dialog box in Figure 21.33 is displayed. |
