I wish that I could say that every application you upgrade is going to work perfectly right out of the testing lab, but you’d know that I was lying. Even applications that you create from scratch and thoroughly test using a large beta group are likely to have problems. If you ever doubt this statement, just ask Microsoft about the problems that they’ve experienced over the years. If anyone should be able to create the perfect application, they certainly have the resources and testing base to do so.
