Using Microsoft Photo Editor 3.01
Office 2000 includes a program for retouching and altering photographs called Microsoft Photo Editor 3.01 (see Figure 29.51). Word 97 relied on Microsoft Photo Editor to acquire scanned images and to edit them once they were digitized. In contrast, Word 2000 has a built-in scanning feature. However, Microsoft Photo Editor's image editing capabilities are still very handy.
