Moving Elements Among Templates
In the "Keeping Track of Styles with the Organizer" section of Chapter 6, you learned that Word provides the Organizer (page 249) to help you move styles from one template (or document) to another. The Organizer doesn't just work with styles: it's Word's tool for moving a wide variety of elements between templates, including
AutoText entries (boilerplate text and graphics; see Chapter 8)
Toolbars (see Chapter 28)
Macro Project Items (page 1161) (see Chapter 31, "Recording and Running Visual Basic Macros,")
To use the Organizer, choose Tools, Templates and Add-Ins; then click Organizer. The Organizer appears, with the Styles tab displayed (see Figure 7.10).
