You’ve finished editing your film. Perhaps you or someone else has done all the necessary sound editing and designing. You are ready to mix the dialogue, sound effects, sound design, backgrounds, Foley and music.

The type of film you have created will determine which aspects of sound will be dominant. For example, a horror or science fiction film will usually have more sound design and possibly more music than a drama or comedy.
