This chapter introduces the fundamental test process, its associated activities, and appropriate tool support1.
2.1 Test Process Fundamentals
In order to perform structured tests, a general description of the task as found in most development models (see chapter 3) is not sufficient. Besides integrating testing into the development process it is also necessary to provide a detailed test procedure (see figure 2-1).
