Chapter 13 Software Quality Assurance Plan

After reading this chapter you will be able to:

  • use the information provided in each chapter to develop a complete SQA plan for a project;
  • understand the SQA requirements presented in the IEEE 730 standard;
  • refer to the detailed explanations in the appropriate chapter and section of the book.

13.1 Introduction

This chapter is devoted to the use of concepts and practices presented in this book to implement a software quality assurance plan (SQAP). Figure 13.1, adapted from Daniel Galin's house of software quality, connects all of the book's concepts as components that must come together to achieve software quality.
