What’s Next?

When we started to research this book, it was with the vision that the Social Era was creating giants and social tribes impacting all forms of media channels. The business conversations that were playing out in the early stages of social media usage were more about collaboration behaviors (trust, reciprocity, etc.), value and benefits (return on investment or contribution), and also the concerns (employee productivity loss, attention risks, etc.). Today, the conversations are less about questioning the value of social media usage, rather we are moving forward rapidly into a world of social connected, alertness, where social connections will eventually be everywhere and in all things.
