From Action to Impact
Year Up was founded in 2000 in Boston with an innovative workforce development program to serve disconnected young adults from urban areas. Its premise was that if young adults from urban communities are challenged and supported to learn real job skills and gain hands-on work experience in a corporate environment, they are more likely to get good jobs and go on to college.1 Year Up collaborates with business and educational partners to offer a comprehensive training and educational program.
