It uses the boiling point of water at sea level (212 degrees Fahrenheit) as an analogy for putting in just a bit more effort to achieve your goals. At 211 degrees, water is hot. At 212 degrees, water boils. That one degree of temperature (one degree of effort in life or business) makes all the difference between success and not quite enough. The point is that each person is responsible for his or her own results. All of us are accountable for everything we do or don’t do in life.
