Abstract

The main purpose of a micro energy grid (MEG) is to supply specific local loads in certain remote geographical areas or zones with economical and efficient operation using distributed energy resources, which include generation [such as photovoltaic (PV) solar cells, wind energy, fuel cells, batteries, and diesel engines] as well as energy storage.
