7A: Building the Simulation in Arena
Introduction
In order to undertake the exercises in this chapter requires the installation of the Arena simulation software system. This is available as a free download with full functionality but with a limited model size at www.arenasimulation.com/simulation-software-download.
This chapter uses version 16.1 of Arena. A selection of modules from the main templates in Arena is described. These provide the building blocks for the models presented in this chapter, but there are numerous additional modules available in Arena if required. The following templates are described:
