CHAPTER 9 Selecting Lenses
Well, you've gotten a camera. Terrific! Now you need a lens, because it's the lens that takes the pictures. Let's talk about professional cameras first. Most of the prosumer cameras come with a lens permanently attached. There is not much to choose from there, but we'll look at a few options.
Let's make it simple. Every rental house has lenses, some that come in sets, that you can rent. If you look online, you will see lots of choices, especially Panavision, Zeiss, Cooke, and Leica. They make most of the lenses you'll be concerned with. It's fun to see all the stuff they have.
