The main goal of this project is to develop a weather station with the Raspberry Pi and be able to monitor all the sensors with ThingSpeak and Twitter/X. The sensors used are the DHT11 (humidity and temperature sensor) and the BMP085 (barometric pressure and temperature sensor).

Why not use the DHT22, BMP180, or BMP280? These manufacturers are always coming out with new versions of these sensors, and I’d never finish this chapter or book! Don’t worry; the adjustments will be minimal between one sensor version and another.
