Synopsis
When
doing a lookup, the -l switch sets a time limit
for how long to wait for a reply:
-l5
Note that the limit is not a general time expression (that is,
15m still evaluates to 15 seconds).
Also note that this -l switch is not available for
all database-map types. As of this writing, it is available only with
the ldap and ph database-map
types.
