The oldest and most intriguing profession in the world is selling. Since the beginning of time, Bedouins and nomads exchanged goods and services so that each could survive. As civilizations developed, selling became a much more structured platform. Various civilizations from the Romans to the Eastern European explosions developed selling into what it is today. However, it was not until the late 1920s and early 1930s that selling became an American or even international institution.
