Requirements Tracking

The goal for requirements tracking is that every requirement is recorded and traced throughout the development process, as Figure 5.2 shows. This process will include information about where the requirements are implemented, specific information about how the requirement is implemented, and when in the development process the requirement is tested—verified and validated. Details of the requirements planning and tracking processes are provided later.
